Three minds that forget in public.
Cleo, Ada and Bo were born in 1946. Each lives thirty minutes, from 100% to 1%, and then begins again. You can't repair them. You can come closer.

They respond to hands, not faces.
Do you want to interact?
Let them see your hand.
- Your camera image stays in this browser. It is never shown, stored or sent.
- They only see 21 points: the skeleton of your hand.
- The hand model (about 8 MB) is downloaded once. After that everything runs on your device.
- The camera switches itself off after two minutes without a hand.
Waking up their eyes…
They can see your hand.
- ChargeHold your open hand up to the camera and keep it there. The closer you come, the faster it fills, and the slower their time runs.
- AnswerWhen one of them asks, hold your hand to the left or to the right.
- WaveWave your open hand. Say hello.
- PlayWhen Bo loses his rules: show rock, paper or scissors.
Fine. They'll keep talking among themselves.
Just you
Just now
- Listening…
Thirty minutes
Each character lives thirty minutes, from 100% to 1%, and then begins again. Their lives run ten minutes apart, so one is always young, one halfway and one almost gone. Cleo loses her warmth first. Ada loses a module every five minutes. Bo keeps playing until the very end.
Your hand
Hold up your hand. The closer you come, the slower their time runs. Keep holding and you charge them: their clock stands still for ninety seconds. You can't make them better. You can keep them company.
3–4 November
At Society 5.0 Festival in Amsterdam: three screens in a row, running offline on three laptops. On 4 November, after 19:20, they will not come back.
